On a beautiful, sunny, Spring day this young mute swan (cygnus olor) was sunning and preening its' feathers on the shore of Lake Ontario near Bronte in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. At times, it would hide his beak in the feathers and stare at me wondering what I was doing.
