Close-up of a mute swan (cygnus olor). Judging by the fact that it was part of a flock of 7 swans preening on the shore of Lake Ontario, it should be a young swan, not older than 4 years old. The knob size and the light orange color of the beak confirm the young age of this swan. The background features reflection of a nearby tree, hence the green color on the water surface. Image was taken near Bronte Harbour in Oakville, Ontario, Canada on a sunny Spring day.
